My biggest crochet project ever! I started making a large blanket that is coming along slowly, but I did have some problems with my right hand in between. I've been reading the blog Attic24 for a while. I always adored the colourful blankets and got inspired to make my own. They're lovely colours to look at, but not for my home as you could guess. Of course, I'm doing things my way.

One of the projects came to me in a dream, and I just had to make it a reality. Here I'm focusing on how to wear the pieces, including a bit more about the rest of the outfits. I'm currently working on two yarn-based projects, a crop top in crochet and a knitted vest. Both have in common that I've done something similar before and that the yarns were not from my (still not shrinking) stash, but purchased specifically for these two garments. I'll tell you a bit more about these and why I chose them is this post (so this might qualify as unpaid advertisement), as well as the patterns I used an what I like about them.

I haven't been in a nice place recently. It probably was a combination of a stressful summer, dealing with colds in autumn and not a lot of energy left for creative projects. My mood was declining with the light and I thought picking up a simple crochet project might help. It did. Well, a bit at least. So today I'd like to tell you the story of the red fishnet top.

Ich hab mich gefragt was ich euch so diese Woche präsentieren könnte und mir ist aufgefallen, daß ich so einige Projekte angefangen, aber nichts fertig bekommen habe. Aber das ist auch ok. Bei mir läuft vieles parallel, und ich hab manchmal auf dies Lust und manchmal auf das. Und dann hat meine kreativer Kopf ne neue Idee, die ich unbedingt sofort umsetzen muß... oder zumindest ausprobieren. Haute mal ein buntes Sammelsurium:

Wow, schon 5 Jahre! Und über drei davon schreiben ich nun schon aus England und es ist auch sonst viel passiert. 230 Beiträge sind in dieser Zeit zusammen gekommen, viel Genähtes und andere DIYs aber auch mal was politisches oder Urlaubsfotos. Ich habe mal nachgesehen welche die beliebtesten in den einzelnen Jahren waren und hab sie für euch zusammengestellt.

Dies ist eigentlich ein Urlaubsprojekt, doch wie so oft hab ich es zu Hause erst fertig gestellt. Daran ist auch ziemlich viel Zufall, denn ich hatte mir blaues Baumwollgarn eingepackt aber keine Anleitung oder Idee was ich daraus machen wollte. Unterwegs hab ich mir eine Mollie Makes gekauft, da ich die verschiedenen Anleitungen in allen möglichen Techniken in einem Heft mochte, um sie am Strand zu lesen. So kam dieses Projekt zusammen.

Den No Stress Sweater hatte ich mir ja Anfang Dezember schon vorgenommen. Während des Urlaubs hatte ich dann endlich genug Zeit zum häkeln. Dann hat es wieder ein bißchen gedauert bis ich aus den vier Teilen den fertigen Netzpulli zusammengesetzt habe. Macht aber nichts, denn mit so vielen Löchern ist es ja auch nicht gerade ein Winterpulli, sondern eher was für den Frühling. Kann's kaum erwarten, daß es endlich etwas wärmer wird!

Nachdem ich irgendwie am Anfang diesen Winters zufällig im Internet auf Anleitungsvideos gestoßen bin, hat mich die Lust auf's Häkeln gepackt. Stricken interessiert mich momentan wenig. Ich hab dann direkt mal ein paar alte Projekte rausgekramt und weiter gehäkelt, doch wieder festgestellt, warum ich die nicht so toll fand. Naja, also spontan mal was neues angefangen und mal sehen was draus wird - tatsächlich ein tragbares Kleidungsstück.

Was ein vollgepacktes Wochenende! Manchmal ist ja wochenlang nichts los und dann alles auf einmal. Am Samstag hatte ich einen Bastelnachmittag, einen Onlinemarkt und ein Punkkonzert im Kalender stehen. Was erstmal etwas stressig klang hat dann noch super geklappt und richtig viel Spaß gemacht. Am Sonntag konnte ich mich aber nicht ausruhen, sondern war den ganzen Nachmittag bei einem Roller Derby Spiel auf den Beinen, meinem ersten offiziellen sogar.
