This week, I'm showing you an outfit that has more behind it than being a basic jeans and band shirt combination. I've owned the striped and flared pants for many years, but it was time to make some changes (and repairs). The long-sleeved shirt is new but needed some alterations as well. Sometimes it's in the small details to make things work. Can you guess what I did?

Today I have another two outfits for you with a dark post-apocalyptic vibe that I totally wear to work. I rarely wear jeans and basic T-shirts these days; these outfits are much more comfortable and cool. This time, I'm featuring three independent designers - Schnittmuskel, Ynhoia and Dorawyn. I paid for everything myself and just tell you because I love them.

I'm back from my summer break and travel through the south of the country. It was great to be out and offline, but I didn't forget about you and brought back some many photos. The credit for not only the photography but also finding this breathtaking location goes to my partner David. It's an old quarry directly at the coast of the Isle of Portland.

I'd like to introduce you to two slow fashion designers today, whose designs go together very well. We drove to the Yorkshire Moors to have an unusual landscape as an excellent backdrop for a post-apocalyptic vibe in nature. I totally wear these outfits to work, though. You know I'm always happy to spread the word about independent designers, even though I have to mark this post as an advertisement.

Last week, I showed you how patches can add style to used clothing like the zebra skirt. Today, I have some outfit photos for you. It combines two second-hand pieces that are altered a bit to give a wicked goth outfit, which is still suitable for everyday wear.

Am Samstag war nach langer Zeit endlich wieder schönes Wetter angesagt und mir war sehr nach einem Kurzurlaub. Anstatt eine weitere Abbey oder Burgruine anzusehen, fand ich einen entspannten Tag am Strand irgendwie reizvoller. Die Küste ist nicht weit weg, aber es gibt viele Möglichkeiten. Von der Robin Hood Bay hatten wir gehört, daß sie besonders schön sein soll, also auch perfekt für einen Fotobeitrag.

Es wird mal wieder Zeit für einen Outfitbeitrag und da ich in Spanien Zeit und eine schöne Landschaft hatte, sind die Fotos dort entstanden. Heute zeige ich euch zwei alte Lieblingsteile und zwei ganz neue, die zusammen ein post-apokalyptisch inspiriertes Outfit ergeben, das nicht nur Urlaubs- sondern auch Alltags-tauglich ist. Dabei stelle ich euch zwei kleine Labels vor, die ihr vielleicht noch nicht kennt und für die ich gerne unentgeltlich Werbung mache.

Normalerweise habe ich ja nur ein Thema pro Beitrag, aber mein Wochenende ist oft vollgestopft mit den verschiedensten Sachen. Einzeln vielleicht auch nicht immer interessant genug für einen ganzen Blogartikel. Deswegen erzähle ich dir heute mal von meinem Samstag von morgens bis abends. Mit dabei sind work-in-progress Bilder von neuen Teilen, ein kleiner Platten-Review, mein Ausgeh-Outfit, ein Konzertbericht und ein spontanes Nickerchen.

Das erste Festival des Jahres war diesmal wieder das Manchester Punk Festival mit außergewöhnlich gutem Wetter. Glücklicherweise hatten wir uns rechtzeitig Karten gesichert, denn es war relativ früh ausverkauft. Von den Bands nicht ganz so der Knaller wie zuvor, aber allein die ganzen Leute zu treffen war schon Grund genug. Da ich keine Konzertfotografin bin, zeige ich euch ein paar Bilder von meinen Outfits während ich von diesem tollen Wochenende erzähle.
