I became a bit unhappy with my old EOS 400D from 2006 recently. The pictures turned out too dark and slightly blurry, so I had to do a lot of editing. So it was time for a new model. The 800D has double the pixels, a rotatable touch screen - so I can see what I'm doing - and a video function, just to name the three most important differences for me. So here are my first shots.

I'm still doing Roller Derby and as I'm more advanced now, I'm going to more training sessions. More on how this is going also in this post, but first I want to show you my new sports clothes. For Skating, I usually wear shorts and currently I only have a bought and a handmade pair. Time to make another one that is exactly how I want it to be. That's what I did on my X-mas holiday. Was ein vollgepacktes Wochenende! Manchmal ist ja wochenlang nichts los und dann alles auf einmal. Am Samstag hatte ich einen Bastelnachmittag, einen Onlinemarkt und ein Punkkonzert im Kalender stehen. Was erstmal etwas stressig klang hat dann noch super geklappt und richtig viel Spaß gemacht. Am Sonntag konnte ich mich aber nicht ausruhen, sondern war den ganzen Nachmittag bei einem Roller Derby Spiel auf den Beinen, meinem ersten offiziellen sogar.
